This study attempted through the interpretation of the fairy tale ´Frau Holle´ to inquire the important elements of child and adolescence development .The fairy tales deal with different kinds of experiences with regard to mother-kind relationship, genitality, latency, puberty, adolescence, and maturity. Therefore the fairy tales may be seen as a biography, a study of the development of a human being. Through the interpretation of the symbol language of the fairy tales, we found the important elements which are required for the complete maturation in the period of adolescence. The important elements are as follow:
the psycho-socal development of the child´s and adolescent´s inner world, their social -, sexual -, and vocational roles, the problems of life, problem solving mechanism, their coping techniques, and results of their ego identity investigation.
